We booked 4 nights and stayed one. The room smelled musty and damp.

The rooms, the pool, the appearance and the cost for what we got.

We had to pay more for this old out-dated motel than we did the other two nights for beautiful new facilities. I like old building with character, but this building had none of that.

We were extremely disapointed in our stay at the Budget Host Inn. The room smelled like cheap air freshener, the air conditioner was old and very noisy, there were ants crawling on the bathroom sink the breakfast was awful. I would rather sleep in my car than ever stay at another Budget Host Inn again!

The four beds. We all had a bed. Convieniance of being on rushmore road. Price was resanable for the season.

Needs updating

Location was good, close to dining.

The shower did not work despite several attempts to correct, we were given $5.00 off our bill which was a slap in the face.

Desk mgr was nice and helpful.

Room had a damaged door to the bathroom.

The room had a funny smell and was older than what I wanted.

Nothing. This was the worst motel I have ever stayed in. I did not even walk barefoot in the room it was so dirty. Had we not been charged for the night stay due to late check-in, we would have never stayed there. The pictures on the website were not accurate at all!

I can't say that I liked much of anything about the hotel at all.

The shower didn't work.

Office staff was friendly and accommodating.

We couldn't turn the heating unit off. Staff was accommodating to try and fix problem and did offer to move us to another room.

The central location of this hotel made it very convenient to go see Mount Rushmore, Custer Park and Crazy Horse memorial. Also close to city center and shopping. We loved our stay here and would go back there.

Small stool in bathroom. My wife and I left the room for a day to see some more sights. Labor Day. We left at 10 am and got back at 5 pm. When we got back the room had not been cleaned. We went to desk and girl said she couldn't do anything until 8 pm (at least fresh towels). She didn't show up. We had gone out at to eat after seeing her and got back to room at 9:30. We went back to desk and another girl there said she would bring what we needed. She did. When we checked out on weds I asked for an adjustment and was told that a do not disturb signs was on door. It was not! They finaly adjusted $13 from bill. Bed to soft. Some cleaners better than others. Couple of nights, some noisy neighors. One night they must have tore the place apart.
